Congratulations to Brian Moffatt and Mike Wright on obtaining Grade 2 referee certification.
PRESENTATION NIGHT 2008
Presentation Night 2008 with guest professional SHAUN MURPHY took place on 10th. May 2008 at the Fairview club.

SIMON'S SNOOKER MARATHON
On Saturday, 29th. March 2008, Simon Woodward of the North Harrow HG Club organised and participated in a Snooker Marathon, playing continuously for 12 hours against volunteers in aid of THE PAUL HUNTER FOUNDATION.

Simon played 43 frames, scored 2351 points (2245 against) but most importantly raised £1345 (plus £100 pledged but not yet received) for the charity.

2008 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The most significant issue arising was the departure of Mr DP Theobald from the post of Treasurer. Mr J Leahy volunteered to fill the post and was unanimously accepted.
A number of Rule amendments, were accepted.
