Named, in memoriam, after H.U. (Jack) Poore (of the HARROW WEALD MEMORIAL CLUB), this takes the form of a handicapped team knock-out competition.
All participating Snooker League teams are automatically entered into a single draw with a re-draw taking place each round.
Handicaps are quoted as points received per frame.
Matches are conducted in much the same way as in the Snooker League (ie six-person teams, each player playing 2 frames against their opposite number etc.) with the exception that in the case of a 6-6 draw, each team nominates one of their players to play a deciding frame.
Matches are scheduled to be played on Wednesday evenings during the winter season at the venue of the "first drawn" team, with the exception of the semi-finals and final which are played at neutral venues.
